Pastor Larry D. Geer, Jr., was born in Chicago Illinois, but lived in Anderson, South Carolina for many years as a youth. Pastor Geer is a devoted husband to Antonina Geer and a loving and honorable father to four children. He attended public schools in Anderson County where he graduated from Westside High School. He continued his studies and received a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University.

Pastor Geer accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 1993 at the age of 21. He served at Welfare Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor S.B. Neely for two years where he began to grow into the knowledge of God. In 1995 he became a faithful member at Strait Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor Johnny Donald Jr. where he served as Youth Director until 2000.

Pastor Geer answered God’s call and received his license in the ministry in December of 2003 at New Mercies Christian Church in Lilburn, Georgia under the leadership of Pastor Jesse Curney, III. From May 2002, he served faithfully as the Evangelism Coordinator. He also served in the Student, New Member Intake, and Mime ministries.

Pastor Larry always knew that God would call him back to South Carolina. In 2007 God directed him to relocate to South Carolina where he served at Sweet Canaan Baptist Church in Piedmont, SC in various capacities including Ministry Director, Outreach Director, and Athletics Ministry Director.

In early 2010 God impressed upon his heart to start preparing for beginning a new ministry in the Anderson area, which is now the Abundant Living Christian Church. Pastor Larry is an anointed teacher and has a gift for presenting the Word of God in a manner in which people are able to understand and apply it to their daily lives. Pastor Geer loves people, his heart is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to the un-churched and to see believers not only saved but grow in their salvation.  He believes that it is important for believers to grow from mercy to maturity to ministry.
